We optimally pack perishable foods with vacuum sealing and temperature-controlled packaging containing 100% recyclable kraft paper thermal insulation and 100% recyclable non-toxic refrigerant gel packs, which will be added as needed depending on the product and month´s temperature, keeping the food items at the adequate cool temperature for up to 48 hours.

    100 gr hand-carved of Aljomar acorn-fed 100% Ibérico ham (jamón), black label - pata negra, DOP Guijuelo from the town of Guijuelo (Salamanca), Castille and Leon.

    The hand-carved by knife cut of this product gives it a premium touch, flavor, and delicacy in the slices that is only available in a product prepared by Aljomar expert master slicers.

    The oldest in Aljomar´s cellar, from 36 to 48 months of natural curing.  This is the only ham recommended by awarded Spanish chef Martín Berasategui, winner of 12 Michelin stars.

    This product comes from 100% Ibérico pigs, i.e. the progenitors of the Ibérico pig were also 100% Ibérico, giving rise to a purebred animal, commonly known as "Pata Negra".

    Aljomar earned the animal welfare certificate issued by Aenor. This certificate guarantees animal welfare throughout our production process, from the rearing of the Iberian pig on our farms to the processes in our factory, guaranteeing the use of good practices throughout the food chain.

    Acorn-fed Ibérico ham is a source of essential vitamins and minerals as well as proteins of high biological value. At the same time, numerous studies indicate the heart-healthy benefits of this product, its antioxidant properties and its high content of vitamin B1 to combat anxiety and stress.

    Until the vacuum sealed package is opened, we advice to keep it in the fridge as it will be preserved longer at constant temperature; but if you plan to consume it shortly, you could keep it outside the fridge without problem.

    Once the package is opened and partially consumed, we advise you to keep it in the fridge, inside a tupperware or any other recipient with no direct contact with the air, as it won't be overdried. You can also keep it in the sachet in which you received it, properly closed to avoid over-drying it.

    Ham should be consumed at room temperature, when it will have a lustrous appearance. When too cold, the fat will appear opaque.
