200 g of MRM Lacón in tapas, extra quality, hand-carved, from Móstoles, Madrid, in atmosphere-protected packaging. Smoked with beech wood, giving it a characteristic bouquet.
It comes hand-carved with knife in "lascas" (slices) making it great for any appetizer or tapa. Seasoned with olive oil and/or paprika, with a few seconds in the microwave, it is a perfect pincho (skewer) that will always be a success.
The term lacón comes from the Latin lacca, which refers to the foreleg of the white pig. It is much less cured than serrano ham. It differs from York ham in that it is an air-dried product (and is not heat-treated like york ham).
