Approx. 500 gr cube piece (taco) of Alfonso Sáez´s Cecina de toro (cecina of bull), from the town of Manzanera (Teruel) in Aragon, in vacuum-sealed packaging.
Alfonso Sáez's Cecina de Toro is cured in one of the oldest drying sheds in the Gúdar-Javalambre region, in the municipality of Mora de Rubielos. It has followed a traditional process of salting and drying in the fresh, dry air of the Sierra de Teruel, ensuring a totally natural, high-quality product. The cecina de toro meat has a delicate, slightly salty flavour, a pleasant aroma and the characteristic aroma of a natural cured (unsmoked) cecina. Its texture is homogeneous and not very fibrous.
Cecina de Toro de Alfonso Sáez is a perfect pairing for cheeses, preserves, wines and oils.
The cured products from Alfonso Sáez´s dryer have high biological value proteins, oleic acid, and monounsaturated fats that reduce the risk of heart disease and high nutritional values.
